So, i have put up on this post featuring 3 items that will shield your rugs from those sometimes unavoidable pet stains.
The 3rd step is just as important, cleaning the rug as soon as you see the accident.
Before i get into those 3 items, here is a breakdown on where and how to put the items in and under your rugs.
If this rug is being put down over a hard surface, like tile, vinyl, linoleum or wood flooring, the next step will make the rug and padding stay put.
Same idea here with the tape.
While i have found double sided tapes work best for rugs over carpet floors, traction tape is really the best option for hard surface floors.
For smaller stains, you can spray and blot the scotchgard alongside a rag or cloth underneath to capture the liquid.
Here is a picture of the scotchgard i recommend: with these three steps, you should be well on your way to getting the most life out of your rug.
