I love all of my breville products; they now came out with a tea maker which i really want to take a look at.
It has great boiling differentials, which is important for different types of teas.
But their products are fabulous in general.
Will let you the opinion of the children of the cookies.
The cookies are yummy do give them a try julie, they do have a strong nutmeg note to them, so you may want to decrease it if these are for kids.
As for the breville products i have to say that i agree with you, their products really seem to be well thought out and well made.
I have one of their blenders that is really great.
I am was also lucky enough to get one of those kettles that you mentioned.
I have to say it is a pretty well designed and clever kettle.
I love the fact that one can freeze for later, and always have one hand.

They do freeze well, in fact i made some from frozen last night.
Alternatively you could flatten the cookies out before you freeze them, i suppose this would be even less hassle when you go to bake them.
There is nothing better than oatmeal cookies and this recipe is just great and so easy to follow.
